Official Blurb: Jules is running from her old life and the man who
wants to lock her up and abuse her. She’s finally escaped, but she’s run right
into another mountain of trouble. She agrees to do one last job for her new
boss and then she’s out. But once again she’s caught in the middle when she’s
taken hostage by a hot stranger named Cooper.
Cooper is robbing from the rich to give back to
his community and make the town he grew up in a safer place. He and his band of
brothers are stealing every dime from the local mob, but when it’s time to grab
the bag, he gets more than he bargained for.
Warning: If being held against your will with
this hot alpha is a crime, then lock me up! These two get cozy while on the run
and burn up the road. Grab it now and lock it down… We promise you won’t be
disappointed.
Review: To me, this was
unlike any AR book I’ve ever read before. It was different, but in a good way.
It had a different type of vibe, and I was pulled in from the start.
Poor Jules can’t catch a
break. It seems like everywhere she goes she finds herself in dangerous and
crazy situations. She is on the run from a crazy man, but now, she has found
herself tied back up with someone who isn’t who she thought. She knows she has
to get away from him as well, and she agrees to do one more job. After the job,
she is out, but that all changes, when Cooper shows up. Now, she is stuck in a
hostage situation, but this time, it might actually be one she doesn’t want to
escape.
I adored both Cooper and
Jules. There were some trust issues at first, but you can’t blame Jules,
because of all the bad stuff that happened to her. Deep down, she knew that
Cooper was a stand-up guy, but her heart and mind had to learn to believe in
him. But Cooper fell head over heels the minute he laid eyes on Jules, so he
waited patiently for her to catch up. The chemistry is amazing as well as the
steam in this book. Can’t wait to for the next one.
