Review: Con Artist by Alexa Riley

Publication Date: February 6th, 2019
Series: Breeding #6
Rating: 5 Stars

Official Blurb: James Bryant is trying her best to quit her job as a thief, but she needs one more big job to get the money she needs. When she literally runs into a man on the street and takes his wallet, she never imagines that the muscled beast would come back to haunt her.

Bennett Hughes lives a life of luxury and solitude. There’s nothing he can’t get if he wants it, but when a pickpocket catches his attention and gets away he finds it impossible to track her down. Luckily for him he knows people in all the wrong places, and as soon as he gets his hands on her, he’ll make sure she’s bound to him in every possible way.

Review: Of course, I love this dynamic duo, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this amazing little book. The breeding series has to be some of my favorites because it’s sexy, dirty, filthy, but oh so amazingly sweet. I was hooked from page one.

James hasn’t had the easiest life. Her parents taught her at a young age how not to go down the same path as they did, so she’s been doing everything in her power to survive, on her own, for a very long time. Her goals are to do one or two more jobs, and then she will be free to live out her life in peace. That is until everything changes the day she meets Bennett. She shouldn’t have these feelings for him, but the more time she spends with him, the more she realizes that maybe he could be everything she’s been waiting for.

I adored James. She is not only sweet and smart, but she is also very independent. And of course, Bennett is completely obsessed with James the minute he sees her. He is determined to do anything and everything to prove that he is exactly what she needs, as well as where she needs to be. The chemistry is amazing, the sexy times are off the charts hot, and the love between them is so sweet. I loved every minute.
