Review: Closer by Alexa Riley

Publication Date: February 1st, 2019
Series: Standalone

Rating: 5 Stars

Official Blurb: Ava fudged a little on her résumé to land her dream job. She’s been working her curvy booty overtime to get her boss’s new lingerie line off the ground. But when her boss’s brother comes in and says Ava should be the face—and body—of the campaign, she’s having second thoughts.

Lucas knows what he wants, and the second he sees every lush inch of Ava all bets are off. She’s not only the one for the job but the one for him, and he’ll do whatever it takes to make her see it.

Review: I didn’t know anything about the podcast, before reading this book, but I have to get in on that! How have I missed listening to my favorite duo?!

Even though I didn’t listen to the story, I was so glad I got to read it at least. I adored both Lucas and Ava. She is so super sweet and innocent, while he is definitely all alpha male from the moment he sees her. In the beginning, Ava is a little cautious of Lucas, but he is determined to change her mind, showing her that she is his everything.

You can’t go wrong with an AR book. It’s just not possible. It’s always sugary sweet with tons of passion, and an over the top alpha who loves his woman something fierce. My favorite part of this book was the bonus epilogues. Ah, so perfect!
