Review: Ice Planet Barbarians (Ice Planet Barbarians #1) by Ruby Dixon

You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet.
And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me...
When I first started reading Ice Planet Barbarians, I honestly didn't know what to expect. I'm not familiar with this genre, but I always like to try new and exciting books. So, with the instance of a friend, I purchased this book and dove right in.
I wasn't expecting to be sucked into the world of unknown immediately. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy this book, and I absolutely fell in love with every single thing about it. It was a great shock, and I found myself unable to pull away from the interesting, yet addictive storyline.
I finished this book in one sitting. I can't tell you how long it's been since I picked up a book and had no other option but to finish it, because it was that good. I loved the characters, the aliens, and the SciFi element. I really wasn't expecting to enjoy it, because of the "green little men". I thought it was going to be some cheesy story, but I'm so glad I took a chance on it.
This is a book you don't want to miss out on. If you enjoy something different, and especially a book that will hook you, I highly recommend checking this one out. I can't wait to read the rest of this series too.
