Review: So, let me start out by saying that I was a little nervous, after reading book one on how this one was going to play out. I mean, Cade and Indy had such a heartbreaking back story between them, and I was worried there would still be some issues. I was completely shocked at how much I loved this book. It was so much better than the first, and I fell in love.
Book one ended in such a huge tragedy, and this one picks up right where it left off. Cade is completely heartbroken in every way, but he vows that someone will pay for ripping his MC family apart. While he is looking into the death of a member, more tragedy begins to strike. He is trying everything he can do to protect Indy, while also trying to keep his club together. Indy also vows to be there for Cade, and that means not letting him push her away at every turn. She is determined to stand beside him 100%, and their second chance at love isn’t going to go to waste.
I went through a major emotional roller coaster ride with this book. I mean, at one point I literally had tears streaming down my face. My heart was shattered into pieces just to be put back together again. Yes, there is a lot of heartache in this book, but there is also a great deal of love, dedication, family, and support. I adored the connection between Cade and Indy, and I was so glad to see them happy and striving at love together. To me, this was such a huge step up from the first book, and I’m really looking forward to reading the third.
