*~*~* 5 Stars *~*~*

I adore Kristen’s books and her writing so much, and I have been waiting for Max and Willa. First off, look at this gorgeous cover! I mean, it’s so pretty and perfect. Second, this book was everything I wanted and so much more. I adored the other books in this series, but this one is my absolute favorite!

I don’t want to give too much away, so I’m going to try my best for my review to be spoiler free. Max and Willa were once in love back when they were just kids. Max felt like he needed to get out, and he wanted Willa to come, but she didn’t want to leave Cunningham Falls, the only place she’s ever known. Mistakes were made, and now, it’s years later, and Max is back in town. Only this time, Willa isn’t the same person he left behind. She has been through her fair share of tragedy, and she is now raising her son alone. Max has respected Willa’s wishes by staying away, but now that he’s back, he can’t resist her anymore. It’s time for him to show her just how much she means, and both of them have no idea what’s about to come.

Ahhhh!!! This book has so many feels. Literally, I was on an emotional roller coaster ride from start to finish. I honestly think Kristen broke me down piece by piece just to build me right back up. Both Max and Willa are lovable characters, but Alex, Willa’s son, is the little show stealer in this story, but I adored all of them so much. It was also good to get an update from the other characters from this series as well. I literally fell in love with this book from page one, and I didn’t put it down, until I was done. I can’t wait to see what Kristen has in store next.

About Kristen:
Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.
Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.
Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two pugs and two cats.
