Review: Mister Tonight by Kendall Ryan

Publication Date: June 18th, 2018
Series: Standalone
Rating: 4 Stars

Official Blurb:From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a standalone romance about a swoony single dad and the new neighbor he falls for.

Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.

I was that girl.

You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her two best friends—who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.

By reckless, I mean the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like french fries, so there’s that.

He took me home, and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life. Well, until it came to a screeching and rather unwelcome halt.

There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking, “What are you doing to my daddy?”

Just kill me now . . . or so I thought.

Come to find out, the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.

Review: First off, look at that cover! It’s amazing!! Second, I love single dad romances, and this one did not disappoint.

Kate is on a mission to find her mister tonight. She is out with her friends celebrating her birthday when she suddenly spots Hunter, and she knows he’s the one. Everything is going according to plan until Hunter’s daughter interrupts them. Kate is embarrassed, so she takes off. She is just glad she will never have to see Hunter again. Well, until the next day when she realizes he’s her new landlord. How bad can it be?

I adored the relationship between Hunter’s daughter and Kate. I also love the kind of slow burn between Kate and Hunter. They tried to stay just friends, but the chemistry was just too strong between them. This is a super cute book.
