Review: Second Best by Noelle Adams

Publication Date: November 15th, 2017

Series: Standalone
Rating: 5 Stars

Official Blurb: We meet every other Wednesday night in a downtown hotel. No dates. No commitments. No hearts or flowers. Just his body and mine.

Maybe I’m his second best. He’s definitely mine. But second best has never felt so good.

Second Best is a sexy, standalone contemporary romance (60K words).

Review: I have to be honest here and say this is one of my favorite books I have read in a very long time. I don’t know if it was just the story in general or the characters, but I loved every single thing about this book.

Ashley thinks she isn’t a one-night stand kind of girl, which is why she meets up with Sean. Everything about their time together is off the charts. Sean suggests they meet every other Wednesday night with no strings attached. Neither one is looking for love because both are going through different things in their lives, so this situation is perfect. That is until feelings start to change for Ashley. But is Ashley the only one whose feelings are changing? Can Sean really fully commit to her the way she deserves?

I adored those two together. Now, it did take me a bit to warm up to Ashley, but I fell head over heels for Sean right away. The chemistry is perfection, the story is perfection, and I loved this steamy quick read.
