Review: Refuge by Emily Minton and Shelley Springfield

Publication Date: November 25, 2017

Series: Riot MC Book 1
Rating: 5 Stars

Official Blurb: Veronica Cash is in trouble, the kind that could leave her dead. Knowing she has no choice but to ask for help, she finds herself turning to her father’s MC for protection. She ends up depending on one of his brothers to keep her alive. Now, she is in a different kind of danger, the kind that could leave her with a broken heart.

Can a biker club be the safe haven she needs?

Van Scott has always thought he would to do anything for his club, but he never guessed that would involve the President’s daughter living in his house. He definitely wasn’t expecting to be so intrigued by her or want her in his bed so damn bad. Now, he has to figure out a way to protect her without giving in to temptation.

Will he be the refuge she seeks?

Review: I was super excited to read this new biker series by Emily and Shelley, and believe me they did not disappoint.

Van and Veronica haven’t seen each other in years, but now Veronica needs help from her father’s MC club. Van is in charge of Veronica, but once he sees her he comes obsessed with her, and he is fighting with himself. Not only is Veronica off limits, but Van also has a daughter Cline to think about. The longer Van is around Veronica the more he realizes she could be his forever.

There are two things that are amazing in this book the old characters from other books and Cline. That little girl is such a sweetheart and she stole the show. I loved the chemistry between Van and Veronica. This series is going to be amazing, and I can’t wait for the next book.
