Publication Date: December 27, 2016
Series: Sinners of Saint #1
Rating: 4 Stars

Official Blurb: Emilia

They say love and hate are the same feelings experienced under different circumstances, and it’s true.
The man who comes to me in my dreams also haunts me in my nightmares.
He is a brilliant lawyer.
A skilled criminal.
A beautiful liar.
A bully and a savior, a monster and a lover.
Ten years ago, he made me run away from the small town where we lived. Now, he came for me in New York, and he isn’t leaving until he takes me with him.

She is a starving artist.
Pretty and evasive like cherry blossom.
Ten years ago, she barged into my life unannounced and turned everything upside down.
She paid the price.
Emilia LeBlanc is completely off-limits, my best friend’s ex-girlfriend. The woman who knows my darkest secret, and the daughter of the cheap Help we hired to take care of our estate.
That should deter me from chasing her, but it doesn’t.
So she hates me. Big fucking deal.
She better get used to me.

Review: This was my first book by Ms. Shen, but it definitely won’t be my last. Talk about angst!! Whew this book had me on an emotional roller coaster ride from start to finish.

The saying is so true there is a fine line between love and hate. Vicious has the perfect name because he is ruthless and pure vicious at times. I swear I had such a love/hate relationship with him throughout the entire book. He is a bad boy like no other, and he has it out for Emilia LeBlanc, but not in a good way. Emilia is super sweet, and knows there is good in Vicious somewhere underneath all that hate. These two knew each other from when Emilia’s family worked for Vicious’s family, but then one day he rips her away from her family. It’s been 10 years surely he has moved on… wrong he has his sights set on Emilia and he won’t stop until he gets what he wants.

My emotions were all over the place. One minute I wanted to punch Vicious, while the next I wanted to cuddle him. I adored Emilia and her will power to never give up on Vicious although at times he didn’t deserve it. I can’t wait to continue the series to see the rest of the boys get their own stories.
