BLURB
It had to be a joke.
Any minute now, a van would drive up and Ashton Kutcher would slide the door open, laughing hysterically at my melodramatic performance on the front porch.
But nothing happened.
The words on the page jumbled into a toxic mess my brain refused to comprehend, much less accept.
Please consider this letter as a formal request to arrange a paternity test (DNA).
I barely remembered Chelsea Airy.
That wasn’t true—we’d gone out once, and we’d been friends for a while after. But I hadn’t heard so much as a peep from her since I’d gotten married. I’d reached out a handful of times, but she’d quit responding and fell off the face of the earth. There hadn’t been a text, an email, a phone call, not even a Facebook message, much less a stork in the last five years.
My wife could forgive a lot, but she’d never wanted children—much less another woman’s.

*~*~* 4 Stars *~*~*

I knew I was in for a few unexpected surprises when reading this book, but I had no idea the emotional journey that it would take me on. That old saying is true… If you love something, set it free. If it’s meant to be, then it will return.

James knew Cora was the one for him the moment he met her in high school. Cora flipped his entire world upside down. I am not going to go into way too much detail because this story is about so much more than just the blurb describes. Sometimes you have to let something go in order to truly see its value. James and Cora are destined to be together, but not everything in life is perfect. There are so many obstacles that both James and Cora have to overcome throughout the book. At times, I felt so bad for James, and I was actually really pissed at Cora for a while. The ending of the book made me feel better, but there were times I didn’t think she was even redeemable.

Overall, I did really enjoy this story. There were parts that are truly heartbreaking, but there are also many that made me laugh and smile a lot. It’s a book that will definitely give you the feels
