HLMK- Teaser 4

Sometimes love needs a second chance… I never looked back after skipping out on my own wedding, even if it did leave me estranged from most of my family. Eight years later, I have the life I’ve always wanted. As an advertising account executive, my world is damn near perfect. Until I come face-to-face with my past. With the man I once loved. The man who holds my future in his hands. The man who’s hell-bent on getting even with me for leaving him at the altar. Even with all the unfinished business between us, I still love Knox Montgomery. The only problem? He loves me…KNOT.

*~*~ 4 Stars *~*~*

Whew this story took me for an emotional roller coaster ride from start to finish. RC sure kept me on the edge of my seat, until the very end. And can I just say that I am absolutely 100% in love with Knox!

Knox and Emma Jane were destined to be together or so they thought. On their wedding day 8 years prior, one was left at the altar, while the other was left heartbroken and confused. Now years later, Knox and Emma Jane come face to face yet again. But this time their emotions aren’t so loving. Both believe the other broke their promise and are the ones who walked away from their wedding day, but not everything is as it appears. Both Knox and Emma Jane are about to find out that secrets can change everything.

I did really enjoy this book. It took me a bit to warm up to Emma Jane, then I would get mad at her again. She was quite a frustrating young lady. Now Knox on the other hand… I fell completely in love with that man from the moment I met him. I also wanted to crawl through my kindle and cuddle him up. This book was very heartbreaking especially after each one finds out what happened that day eight years prior, and honestly, I felt as though EJ didn’t make the right choice. I was very angry at her throughout the rest of the book actually. I wish we would haven’t gotten a bit more at the end as well. I wanted to see a bit more into their future. But my fingers are crossed they make an appearance in Beck’s book. And I am SUPER excited he is getting a book. I can’t wait!

*~*~ 5 Stars *~*~*

He Loves Me…KNOT by RC Boldt was absolutely amazing! RC’s books just keep getting better and better with each one, and this one is by far my new favorite.
I’ll admit I was so worried when I started because let’s just say I was hanging off the edge of my seat for a while. The anticipation is off the charts and honestly I had no idea what would happen next. RC just pulled me in instantly and lordy it was an emotional ride. I adored those flashbacks and they broke my heart all at once.
I have to say that I loved Knox more than Emma Jane. Don’t get me wrong, EJ is a great character but Knox just pulled at my heart strings more than EJ. Admittedly I didn’t like Knox at first, but he stole my heart within the first few chapters of meeting him. Honestly, I don’t think there was any helping it because RC just wrote this one so well.
The last thing I want to point out with He Loves Me…KNOT is how many emotions RC pulled from me. At first I was sad, then happy, then throughout I was heartbroken, and I can’t even begin to explain the frustration and anger. I won’t say why or at who because this is one of those books you’ll have to read to experience it, but it was so worth it. I love a book that pulls me in so much that I can’t tell it’s a book. When it’s written so brilliantly that it could be a real life experience, well to me that makes it a top read. I just adored He Loves Me…KNOT and I cannot wait to see what RC does next.
