Ever been lost or alone? Where you feel like the world will break you where you stand? Pollux Clark strives to make each day count.
On a mission, he finds himself entangled with the wrong woman.
Katy Dale Vanderlin.
She’s destined to become partner at her firm, so she offers him a deal.
Pose as my fake fiance, and I’ll do anything.
And with stakes like those, Pollux would be an idiot to refuse.
He’ll get what he wants from her.
But, what he wasn’t expecting was to get so much more.
Logan Chance enjoys the simple things in life. Star Wars, music, and pretty girls. Always in trouble at school, he was made to copy the dictionary while the others played. This began his word fascination.
With a love of words, he then realized he loved stringing those same words together to create stories to inspire all.
From Boston, and relocated to Florida, he lives out his days writing, reading, and avoiding the beach.
Not afraid to tell it how it is, Logan is definitely a man of his own.

*~*~* 3.5 Stars *~*~*

Break Me by Logan Chance is a very fast read, and one I finished fairly quickly. In saying that, I liked it wasn’t long and dragged out but I’m still left with a bit of disappointment. Break Me was not a bad book by any means. I just thought it would go in a totally different direction than it did. I was interested in this one simply because I thought, ‘oh yeah. This is my kind of book,’ but unfortunately it wasn’t. I also felt some parts of the first half of the book were a bit dull and I found myself getting distracted. Some parts I thought needed a bit more clarification and I’m still left with a few questions.
However, that last half of the book is what saved it for me. If you’ve read Study Me, like I did and I’m glad I did, you’ll understand that part a lot better. I won’t go into detail about it because I don’t want to give anything away, but I would recommend reading Study Me before Break Me.

I wish I would’ve liked this book like I wanted, and I really hate that Break Me turned out to be something that I didn’t expect.
