Review: White Knuckles by Autumn Jones Lake

Publication Date:  1/17/2017
Series: Lost Kings MC #7
Rating:  4.5 Stars

Official Blurb:

After countless detours, Wrath and Trinity’s wedding is only ten days away. Together they’ve battled their demons and are ready to declare their commitment to each other in front of their entire Lost Kings MC family.

No one is prepared for the threat that crawls out of the shadows and issues an evil ultimatum. One that places Trinity’s future in danger and jeopardizes the entire club. Trinity’s more than ready to put her life on the line to save the club. For her it’s not a question.

Wrath’s role as protector of the club forces him to choose between the safety of his angel or the future of the Lost Kings MC and all they’ve built together. But Trinity won’t relent. A queen always fights for her king. She’ll risk everything to hold on to the peace she shares with Wrath.

When evil takes her for a ride, will Trinity’s faith in Wrath and her faith in the Lost Kings MC be stronger than her fear?

Best. Opening. Line. EVER!

I mean.. in the history of books, best ever. I knew from Wrath’s first sentence that I was going to love this book.

White Knuckles is likely one of the best MC Romance books on the market today. Lake has taken a hardened, foul-mouthed man and turned him into the sweetness, most devoted, and sinfully sexy old man to Trinity’s old lady.  In the span of few minutes, Wrath goes ferociously protective to sinful lover.  It’s enough to make your heart pound and your panties melt away.  I mean, seriously.  HOT. AS. HELL.

Though I knew that White Knuckles was intended to tell the tale of Wrath and Trinity’s trip down the aisle, I knew it wasn’t going to be that simple.  Nothing in the Lost Kings world ever is especially if love in involved.  When the blissful barrier of their impending nuptials implodes, everything and everyone is in jeopardy.  Old ghosts from the past don’t often stay dead and this time, that old ghost has sights on only one thing, revenge. LOKI is about to face their biggest obstacle and Trinity is pushed to the front line.

While I can’t say much more, just know that White Knuckles takes everything that you love about this series whether that be the romance or the action, and masterfully places them together in this wildly brilliant story.
