Review: Out of Love by RC Boldt

Publication Date: December 6, 2016

Series: Standalone
Rating:  5 Stars

Foster Kavanaugh, former Navy SEAL, knows what it’s like to be the top dog, the man in charge, the one calling the shots. Now that he’s running his own security consulting firm, not much has changed.

Except the curvy blonde he hired as his office manager.
Noelle Davis has been through the damn ringer. Swearing off men after escaping a toxic relationship, she’s grateful for a fresh start—new job included. Except her job isn’t tranquil and calm. In fact, it’s quite the opposite because her boss is the most infuriating man on the planet.

And, not to mention, sexy as hell.
Foster has limits. Rules. No attachments allowed because he doesn’t do love—and Noelle Davis foiled that plan and took a red pen to his list of rules. With her smart mouth and quick witted banter, he found the woman beginning to creep past his defenses.

When circumstances put Noelle in a perilous position, the first person to come to her rescue is none other than Foster Kavanaugh. She gets to see the man in action—not as her aggravating boss, but the man who will stop at nothing to keep her safe.

The same man who makes her want to reconsider her self-imposed embargo of men.

The man she wants to get to know now that she’s seen another side of him.

The man who makes her want…more.

But is more possible when you're OUT OF LOVE?

Review: Let me just say this is a top read for me this year! I could not put this book down. I literally didn’t move from the time I started until the time I finished because I was so consumed with Foster and Noelle’s story. Look out ladies there is a new dirty talking man in town that will steal your heart and never return it and his name is Foster Kavanaugh!

One of the things I loved the most about this book is the build up. Foster and Noelle started off slow and steady and eventually turned hot and sizzling. Noelle and Foster both have been through so much. Noelle has sworn off mean and Foster holds many secrets that make him keep his heart guarded. They are both attracted to each other, but fight their feelings because one doesn’t want to get hurt and the other thinks they aren’t worthy. But what happens when feelings become so strong neither can resist?

I really adored this book. There are so many laugh out loud moments, so many sweet moments, and of course the chemistry is off the charts (just a warning… Foster might melt your panties off). I don’t know which one I loved more Foster or Noelle! They are both such lovable characters. I really hope we get to see more from this series with the secondary characters as well. Fantastic job Ms. Boldt! I loved every minute!

Out of Love is everything you want to read in a book and it’s yet another book I very much enjoyed. RC Boldt always nails it with her awesome and witty characters, and this one did not disappoint. There’s so many things about Out of Love that made this book so great, and I know I’ll read it again and again.
It’s hard not to fall in love with Foster and Noelle. Both have so many qualities that make them so likable and real like. Not to mention the dual POV made me realize there was so much more to these two characters. Foster’s personality comes off as if he’s closed off, but the more I read about him, the more I saw what he really hid from others. He’s so loyal, kind, protective, and he’s that one person you want to know more about.  If you’ve read any books from the Teach Me series, you already have met him. It seems since day one, in Wildest Dreams, I instantly wanted Foster’s story to be told. It’s one that I really couldn’t put down once I started, and one I’m so glad I read. Noelle has had some demons herself, but I was really surprised at how well she handled it. I thought her personality would take the story in a different direction, but I’m glad it went the way it had. I really enjoyed learning more about Noelle, and the way she really does change Foster. Neither one didn’t really see it, but it was pretty great to watch it all unfold.
I can’t praise Out of Love high enough and it does deserve more than 5 stars. I can’t go into a lot of details, because this is just one you’ll have to read and see why it’s so amazing to read. RC Boldt always writes with such talent, and every single one of her books makes me feel as if I’m a part of the gang. There’s also so many parts I laughed out loud because you can’t help but get sucked into the story. Out of Love is one of those books that I know will stay with me for a while, and now I’m impatiently waiting to see what RC Boldt has in store for her next book. I highly recommend checking this one, and RC’s other books out.
