Review: Untouched by Lilly Wilde

Publication Date: September 14, 2014
Series: The Untouched Series Book #1
Rating: 4 Stars

Official Blurb:
Untouched is an enthralling story of Aria Cason who has turned her back on love in favor of her career. Aria's past gives her reason to redirect her life and strictly focus on success; allowing little to no room for anything more.
Every part of Aria's life is structured and organized, including love and sex, which are always strategically planned until Aiden Wyatt. Aiden surfaces at Raine Publishing House as an intern who, from the initial meeting, causes several side-steps for Aria. Aiden's extraordinary good looks and commanding demeanor change Aria’s structured world, unlocking feelings that she has vowed to never embrace as he introduces her to a world of intimacy she's never before experienced. Aiden's presence ultimately forces her to face past demons and fight to keep the current ones at bay as she realizes that running is never the answer.

Review: This was my first book by Lilly and I was highly impressed. The writing was good and the story easy to follow. At times, I felt the story dragged out a bit and had a bit too much detail, but overall it’s a good read. I also liked Aria’s character, but I really adored Aiden.

Aria is a very strong independent person. She has seen loss and pain over the years and is determined she isn’t going to let the same happen to her. She keeps men at arms length not allowing any connections other than strictly physical. Everything is fine until Aiden walks in. Aiden flips Aria’s world upside down. It’s not something she is use to and it throws her off her game. Although Aiden is just an intern, he is very dominant and demanding. He controls Aria like no one else ever has. But not everything is as it seems. There are secrets hidden and lies being told. But who is telling the lies and can the hurt be undone?

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Aiden is mysterious and really drew me in. I loved how dominant he was, but also how affectionate he was as well. Aria is very unique. At times, her strong side was a bit annoying but she had her guard up for many reasons. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. Then that ending… AHHH! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
