Review: Lawless by T.M. Frazier

Publication Date: 12/8/2015
Series: King #3
Rating: 4 Stars

Official Blurb:

Thia is prim and proper.
Bear is leather and lawless.
It will never work between them.
It's a lie they almost believe...

I binge read the first two book series in a single day… at work.  If that doesn’t indicate at all how good this series is, I don’t know what will.  While King and Pup’s story has come to a bliss close, we are left with damaged and destroyed Bear. Once a badass biker living in the height of MC life, Bear find himself on the outside and on the run from the club. No one really leaves the Beach Bastards MC without first being in a body bag and donning a toe tag.  He knows his time on Earth is limited and has come to grips with his impending death until a blast from his path tumbles into the wrong clubhouse during an hour of need.  Thia is the kind of girl he doesn’t deserve, but wants like he wants to continue breathing. The chance meeting years ago may have subconsciously sealed his fate with his love life, but loving Thia comes with a whole slew of other issues that will change his fate completely.

Lawless is a gritty and spellbinding tale of second chances and risking it all for the one you love. The surprise ending will leave you shocked and desperately wanting more Bear-y goodness.   The only reason that Lawless is a 4 Star for me was because it felt like it lost a little bit of the pizazz and shock value that came with King and Pup’s story.  We know what Bear has gone through so the shock factor wasn’t there for me, but nonetheless, I loved this story.
