Review: Slut by Jettie Woodruff

Publication Date: November 17, 2015

Series: The Twin Duo book 2

Rating: 5 Stars

Official Blurb: I thought losing my memory was the worst thing in the world. Forgetting who you are, and where you came from was like driving on a road with only right turns. All leading in the same direction. A direction I wanted to avoid, a dark tunnel that I had to enter if I ever wanted answers.
Losing my memory wasn’t the worst thing in the world. Learning, who I was, and the secrets I had kept was way worse. The unbearable pull and the passion we shared, mixed with the past that I didn’t want to remember, created a whole new storm. The perfect storm of two kinds of crazy. Stupid little fish.

Review: Obviously I was hooked from book 1 and have been waiting not so patiently for book 2. Jettie has once again blown me away with not only her beautiful writing but also the way she makes you think one thing and then completely twists it to something else. I am still sitting her in complete shock wondering how in the hell she did it yet again!

Book 1 ended with my mouth hanging wide open so jumping into book 2, I was kind of nervous but also very excited. It’s hard to explain this book because everyone should read it from start to finish and experience the lies and secrets that lay between Paxton and Gabby and believe me there are TONS of things that you will never see coming.

Of course we know in book 1 that Gabby has lost her memory and she is trying her best to figure out who she is. There are things that Gabby starts remembering that hurts my heart for her. But she is no longer the doormat for Paxton anymore. She stands up for herself and does things the way she wants.

Paxton Pierce! LORD what can I say about this man. I have had my ups and downs with him. One minute I was to kiss him and the next punch him in the throat! I did love seeing the changes in Paxton in this book. I think he finally realized that it was time to stop being a complete jackass. You could see the struggle and changes in him throughout the book and the love and devotion he had for Gabby.

This book answers every single question that I had from book 1. I love how Jettie gives you hints for each part throughout the book and then when you add all the pieces together it’s like BAM she killed it and I didn’t see a lot of it coming. I also love how the kids are so involved in the book because it shows the beauty of a true family. I loved Paxton and Gabby and Jettie knocked this book out of the park. AMAZING!!!
