Official Blurb: She’s the Girl Next Door

Maci Price isn’t really into relationships. Having four very protective older brothers has always made having a boyfriend very difficult, anyway. But her friend is set on finding her the perfect guy – and thinks the mysterious Connor Green is the perfect pick.

He’s Her Brother’s Best Friend

Connor Green is trying to find himself again. He loved then lost and it’s time for him to pick up the pieces. His brooding is making his friends crazy, but, Maci Price, who has grown up into a gorgeous and incredibly sexy woman, is about to break the spell.

They’re Made for Each Other

When Maci starts up old pranks to get Connor out of his slump, an all out war leads to a night that will break all their rules, and a relationship they must keep hidden. Together they’re electric. Apart they’re safe. And soon they’ll find they’re exactly what the other needs.

A fabulous, fun, and sexy, New Adult novella from New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams. If you loved Connor in From Ashes, this is the story for you.

Review: This was my first book by Molly since reading Taking Chances. I was actually kind of scared to read anything else because my heart was still hurting so I took a break for a bit but I am so glad I took a chance on this book. I love love love older brother/sister type books and Maci and Connor definitely fall into this category.

Poor Maci has grown up all her life not being able to catch a break because her four brothers are always right there. To say they are very protective of her is a complete understatement. At times, I felt bad for Maci because she couldn’t even talk about having a relationship. But Maci is her own person and she isn’t going to let her brothers stop her from anything. When things start changing between her and Connor, her brothers are the last thing on her mind.

It took me a bit to warm up to Connor. There were a few times I wanted to smack him and tell him to open his eyes to what was right in front of him. Connor didn’t have the greatest life and he also has several demons he is hiding but he really likes Maci and he is willing to take a chance on her until he isn’t.

This is a super funny book. The pranks Maci and Connor play on each other are great. I laughed so many times. The batter between Maci and her brothers is really funny too. There were a few times I wanted to smack Connor for being a prick but he would always make up for it pretty quickly. I am actually looking forward to reading the brothers books now.
