Review: Wild by Adriane Leigh

Publication Date:  12/13/2013
Series:  Wild #1
Rating: 4 Stars

Official Blurb:

An independent woman, a controlling man, and one wild one-night stand…

Kat Kennedy moved to the rugged coast of Maine to start a new life, but encountered much more than she bargained for in dark, dangerous, and seductive Lane Wild.

Desire and temptation smolder before she succumbs to her darkest fantasies with the captivating stranger. She doesn't expect to see him again after an explosive one-night stand leaves her breathless and craving more, but just like lightning in the darkness, he shows up in her life at the most unpredictable moments.

A sensual game of cat and mouse ensues before the attraction between them reaches a fever pitch—the magnetism combustible, the sexual tension nearly unbearable—and Kat finally abandons inhibition and explores the cunning, selfish, and sexual side of a world she's never known.

They have the perfect non-relationship—passion-fueled nights with no strings attached—until life gets real and the past and present collide in a dangerous storm of lust and obsession.

Steamy sex alert! I repeat we have a steamy sex warning in progress! This book was seriously… like woah.  Wild is the perfect name for this book. It’s sexy and romantic all at the same time.  Leigh gives us unexpected twists and turns that will leave you dazed and confused. Did I mention the sex? There were times while I was reading this book, I set back and wondered what kind of research Leigh did for this novel because frankly she would make sure that a friend will delete her browsing history if something ever happened to her.  The premise of the book was different as it revolved about a one night stand that turns into so much more than just a quick bump and grind session. Wild’s mouth by far was my favorite thing about this book. He had just enough sex appeal and filthy vocabulary that I had to wake my husband up on more than one occasion. Wild is sinfully sexy and will leave you screaming for more.
