Publication Date: September 1, 2015

Series: Kill Devil Hills Book 3
Rating: 5 Stars

Official Blurb: man-child. noun.

manwhore. noun.

Rhett Morgan couldn't have been more wrong for me. The guy drank beer in the shower, for crying out loud. He had no prospects for the future, had slept with half the women in our beach town of Kill Devil Hills, and had no desire to change his manwhore ways.
And when Ben Turner, the guy I had loved from afar for the past four years, died and I couldn't get over his death, I desperately needed a distraction. A distraction like Rhett. So I used him for a one-night stand. Because, after all, that's the only thing a guy like Rhett is good for...right?

Review: After reading books 1 and 2, I couldn’t wait for book 3. We are introduced to both Rhett and Sydney in the other books. On the outside, it looks like Rhett is a complete man whore with no feelings what so ever and Sydney is this super sweet and shy adorable girl. Those are the people they were but after reading both POVs in this book I understand both characters a lot better and both have a side that no one else sees.

If you read the other 2 books you know there is a HUGE secret that is revealed in book 2. A secret that has shaken everything up and left everyone confused but also hopeful. This book picks up during the first books and we get the missing pieces to the story. It was only supposed to be one night between Rhett and Sydney. He was supposed to be a distraction to her but that’s not at all what happens. Both have started to develop feelings for each other and neither one knows what to do about it.

I love this series because not only do we get the story of the main characters but the secondary characters as well. I love each couple in a different way. Rhett did a complete turn around and I fell completely head over heels for him. Sydney is such a sweet and loveable character. It was also so good to see her grow into her self. When Rhett and Sydney have finally started to figure things out when things are shaken up again. This once again goes back to the secret. I honestly hope there will be another book in this series. I wouldn’t mind seeing some novellas on the other couples are well. Don’t miss out on this series and once you start you will be forever addicted.
