Review: Saving Dallas Forever by Kim Jones

Publication Date: March 3, 2014

Series: Book 3

Rating: 5 Stars

Official Blurb: Dallas Knox finally has it all; a man who loves her unconditionally, a relationship with her new found sister, and an MC family who has proven their loyalty time and again. Things are looking up for the CEO who was once a lonely woman filled with bitterness and resentment. The MC life has taught her what it means to be a part of something special. They have broken down her walls and filled her heart with empathy and compassion, resulting in Dallas becoming a person she can be proud of.

But, when Luke is called to join forces with the Devil’s Renegades Lake Charles Chapter against another MC, Dallas will have to start all over, building relationships with a whole new group of ol’ ladies whose trust she has to earn. Not only is Dallas battling relationships inside the club, but ghosts of her past have come back to haunt her.

Will the life she has chosen be enough to keep the demons at bay?

Or is the desire for forever too far out of reach?

Review: This book is kind of bittersweet for me. I read the other 2 books back to back and I was so ready to see how this series ended but also sad to let them go. I have no idea was I was thinking going into this book. I honestly thought things were going to be perfect for Luke and Dallas since they have already been through so much. But boy was I ever wrong. From the very first chapter, my head was spinning with a million questions. This book is packed with action from start to finish and I couldn’t get enough.

Dallas has become Luke’s o’lady and she is trying to adjust to the life style 100%. In order to be LLC’s top girl, she knows she has to be on her game. But there are a lot of bumps along the way. I saw a completely different side to Red in this book. I got mad at her a few times but I still fully respect Red in every way. Not only are things changing within the club but also with the other chapters. Dallas has to earn respect again from new women and it’s a lot harder than she thought.

This book pissed me off a few times as well. I wanted to smack Luke and Dallas both several times.  They both hide stuff from each other knowing that they are going to fight and it’s going to all come out anyway. When you have a huge MC family, nothing ever stays a secret. I also laughed so many times in this book. At one point, my side was hurting so bad from laughing and I had to wipe tears out of my eyes. There are still a lot of things I didn’t see coming in this book. Kim has a way of making you think one thing while something completely different is actually happening. This is one of the best MC series I have read in a long time. I am really looking forward to Red’s book now. I would also love to see a novella from Dallas and Luke maybe somewhere down the road. Don’t miss out on this series … it’s pretty amazing.
