And one of the hardest choices Aurora Alexander will ever have to make.
Newly divorced, single mother Aurora is desperately trying to move on with her life. After a string of unsuccessful blind dates, she turns to internet dating.
Everyone does it, so it has to be safe.
Hot one night stands. Sexting. And an Alpha man who sweeps her off of her feet. Aurora thinks she has found her happily ever after. But among her suitors is one man who plays by a different set of rules, someone who isn’t who he says.
Will Aurora figure out who doesn’t have her best interest at heart?
Or is she destined to become a Statistic?
I was super excited to read this book and also this was my first book by Dawn. The blurb pulled me in and I couldn’t wait to see how this book was going to play out. HOLY CRAP right now!!! This book blew my mind in so many different ways.
This book is told through Aurora’s POV. I actually felt so bad for her at times. When everything happened in her marriage, I wanted to just hold her and cuddled her and I was wanted to punch her ex-husband in the face multiple times. But Aurora finally decided that she wanted to try out dating again so then starts the online account she created.
I could totally understand where she was coming from. At first she was so scared of the whole online dating thing but then she started getting attention and it made her feel good. We meet the four guys Brent, Jackson, Jeremy, and Wesley. Of course we get more of a story on some of these guys than the other. I loved Brent. He was super sweet and he and Aurora became such good friends. Jeremy was a complete mystery I kept trying to piece together. Wesley… OMG Wesley made my panties want to melt right off. And then we have Jackson. Out of all the men Aurora and Jackson clicked the most.
I don’t do spoilers so you HAVE TOO READ this book ASAP!!!! Dawn completely mined shocked me so many times. Just when I had something figured out... BAM she threw me a curve ball. Once I finished this book I sat there in complete shock with my mouth hanging down to the floor. WTF just happened?? I went back and read the epilogue 3 times because I knew that couldn’t be right. All I can say is … WHEN IS BOOK 2 COMING??? Don’t miss out on this amazing book it’s one of the best I have read this year!!
