Review: Push and Pull by Emily Cyr

Publication Date: 4/2/2015

Series: Vampire Favors #1
Rating: 4.5 Stars

Official Blurb:

Seven years ago, Addison Fitzpatrick found herself in a bit of a bind. In true Addison-fashion, she'd angered a drug dealer; she may have “forgotten” to pay him. Just when it was time to pay the piper, she was offered a way out by an unlikely being. Cannon Blackwood, master of vampires, made her an offer she couldn't refuse. Now, Addison owes Cannon three favors.
Seven years after that fateful meeting, just as Addison’s life is getting back on track, Cannon calls in one of the favors she owes him. There is a new drug that threatens the very existence of the vampire race and Cannon needs Addison, along with his brother Lachlan, who happens to be a professional thief, to steal it and destroy any evidence of it.

Not only is the future of the vampires on the line, but with both Cannon and Lachlan vying for her attention, her heart is as well. Addison has difficult choices to make and dangerous favors to repay if she wants to see the light of another day.

As a lover of PNR and all things that go bump in the literary night, I can honestly say that I loved Push and Pull. Emily Cyr’s book had it all. Vampires, humans, mystery, intrigue, pantie melting passion and romance… EVERYTHING! The sexual tension between Addy and the vampire brothers is hot enough to melt your kindle. Addy really resonated with me because she’s not the perfect female character. Her back story is dark and twisted. She’s in the predicament that she is in because of her own doing. She’s repented for her past indiscretions and is now fighting to regain her life back.  Cannon and Lachlan are polar opposite in their vampire ways except for their need to own and possess Addy. You can imagine what territorial vampires will do to keep their woman! Push and Pull is an intense PNR story that will leave you wanting more and wondering… when does the second book come out?!!!?! I NEED IT!
