Review: Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan

Publication Date: January 25, 2014
Rating: 5 Stars

Official Blurb:

When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.

Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.

THIS IS A STAND-ALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY SAGITTARIUS. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

It’s been a week since I turned the last page of Archer’s Voice and I can honestly say that I am still an emotional wreck any time I think about it. I could go on and on about how I loved the characters like so many other reviewers have done before me, but I’m not going to do that for this review. You can tell by the ratings and reviews for this book that is an amazing novel by Mia Sheridan so I’m not going re-iterate what’s already been said. However, I do have something to say about this book that I doubt anyone else has come out and just said, Thank you Mia Sheridan for giving us a story that shows that love doesn’t have to speak volumes to be love. Love does not need endless speeches and charismatic climaxes to be what this book truly showcased. Love is love. It has no limits or procedures. Archer and Bree’s love is timeless and so perfect that this book will be talked about for years to come as one of the best romance novels of its time.
