I loved this collection of novellas by each of the authors. Here is my review of each of them, going in order of which they appear in the book.

Off Duty by Sawyer Bennett

This was my first book I’ve read by Sawyer Bennett. I was blown away at the powerful message behind this epic love story. The saying “the heart what the heart wants” is 100% true. I love how the characters in this short story got their second chance after unfortunate circumstances. And the ending was absolutely heartwarming. I highly enjoyed reading this and I am looking forward to reading more by this author. #LoveIsLove.

Rebound by Chelle Bliss

Rebound is a quick and steamy read. From the first few sentences, I was pulled into the story of Sam and Fiona. I loved how the two met and how quickly they connected. It was refreshing to see two people come together and just take a risk. I enjoyed reading this very much and looking forward to reading a lot more from this author as well.

Wanting to Forget by Toni Aleo

Starting this book I was immediately sucked into it. I found myself going through so many emotions and I literally had to put my kindle down a few times. Jordie was such a strong character and some of things he did made me want to smack him a few times. He was sexy as hell but at the same time he was an ass! The story leaves you hanging but on a good note, there is another to follow up with the rest. I am looking forward to getting my hands on that one so I can learn more of Jordie’s past and hopefully see that he changes his ways.

Closet Confessions by Kindle Alexander

Absolutely loved this one! It was very sweet and made me smile at how love is everywhere and does not discriminate from gender or race. I really loved the fact that Derek and Justin found their HEA and Justin was able to overcome some of his fears of being with someone he truly loved. Highly recommend reading this one and cannot

I have to say if I have to pick one out of all these stories, this one is my favorite. I can't wait to pick up more from this author!

Healing Touch Brenda Rothert

This one is a very sweet and romantic one. I couldn’t get enough of Joss and Carson. They both have had some problems with relationships in the past and they are both still feeling the pains of it. The best thing about it is when they start talking and getting to know one another, they realize how they are connected. Reading this book made me remember all the feelings you get when you meet someone new and how exciting it is. I feel in love with both of the characters and the emotions the author pulled from me was amazing. She had a way of pulling me in and not letting go!

Swimming in Shadows by Eden Butler

In this one we meet Ryan. Ryan is looking for what happened to his mother and he gets himself in to deep when he comes to New Orleans. I really felt for him and what all he was going through. I felt his anger and guilt and I really wished I could step into the book world and help him. I was glad an old friend from his past stepped in and showed him the way and helped him realize the way he is going is not the way he needed to be going. I really can’t wait to read more on this and see how things turn out for Ryan.
