Official Blurb:

Evie Bishop grew up loving Kick Hanson. He loved her, too. They were inseparable. Best friends who looked out for each other. Until the day scandal hit their families and ripped everything apart, changing the course of all their lives.

Kick follows a dangerous path that leads him to the Storm MC where he spends his days buried deep in a violent and lawless world that is slowly consuming his soul. Evie works hard to escape the hopelessness that threatens to swallow her after her family is ripped apart. She builds a stable life for herself, however it's devoid of the one thing she has always longed for - Kick.

The love these two have for each other never wavers but sometimes in life, love isn't enough. Even in the times they find each other again, they can never make it work. Kick fights against bringing Evie into his world and Evie refuses a life with Kick if he won't fully commit to her. However, when circumstance throws them together again, Kick knows he must finally make her his. The trouble is, Evie's done. She loves him but she believes their chance to be together has long passed.

When Kick finally stakes his claim, will Evie relent and give their love another go, or has Kick left it too long to go after the woman who has owned his heart forever?

Relent is the first book in the Sydney Storm MC series. This is a spin off series to the Storm MC series. Readers do not have to read the Storm MC series to read this one.

Holy mother of biker hotness!!!! Nina Levine has done it again! Relent is the first book of a debut MC series for the veteran MC Romance writer. This book is by far her best novel to date. This book starts the new Sydney Storm MC series off with a cascade of firework, turmoil, tears, and beautiful rich and sexy passion.  Levine’s dark and twisted powerful story lines will suck you for the literary ride of your life.  Even after finishing Relent several hours ago, I cannot help but think about the powerful plot of the story.

Kick’s life has never been easy. He’s the badass do everything possible for the club kind of man. He left his old life behind when he was brought into the club and he’ll do what it takes to keep his club safe and his president happy. His only regret in life is giving up two people in order to be the man he is now for his club, his best friend and his girl. When his former best friend dies in a freak car accident, he knows that he cannot continue on his path without the love of his life. Can she live with the man he’s become and the things he’s done and will have to do for his club?

Evie has suffered a life of heart break. Her mother’s affair ruins her family and her reputation while she cannot seem to hold onto the love of her life with the turmoil surrounding his membership with a motorcycle club. Now, her best childhood friend has been stolen away from her and she’s left in shambles. Through the mist and darkness the love of her life returns. He’s saying all the right things and she knows she still loves him, but she doesn’t know whether she can handle the man he is and whether or not their collective pasts could be put aside to try one more time. Her heart, body, and mind are saying opposite things and she has to decide is true love worth the blood, sweat, and tears that will come with it?

Nina has truly blossomed into an amazing MC Romance author. Her stories engage you emotionally and even physically. Kick and Evie’s story will leave you panting and melting from their passion then in tears from their turmoil and pain. The Sydney Storm MC series has ridden hard into my top 10 MC series of all time and I have a feeling as the series progresses that it will only continue to rise to the top.  Now to wait for King’s story…. Is it here yet??!!?!?
