You're not supposed to want the one who torments you.

When my stepbrother, Elec, came to live with us my senior year, I wasn't prepared for how much of a jerk he'd be.

I hated that he took it out on me because he didn't want to be here.
I hated that he brought girls from our high school back to his room.
But what I hated the most was the unwanted way my body reacted to him.

At first, I thought all he had going for him were his rock-hard tattooed abs and chiseled face. But things started changing between us, and it all came to a head one night.

Then, just as quickly as he'd come into my life, he was gone back to California.

It had been years since I'd seen Elec.

When tragedy struck our family, I'd have to face him again.

And holy hell, the teenager who made me crazy was now a man that drove me insane.

I had a feeling my heart was about to get broken again.

Stepbrother Dearest is a standalone novel.

**Contains graphic sexual content and harsh language. It is only appropriate for adult readers age 18+

WOW WOW AND WOW!!!! I read this book in 3 hours because it was so good I could not put it down. This book was one of the best books I have read this year!! When the book starts Greta is awaiting the arrival of her stepbrother who needs to stay with her family for a year while is mother is traveling with a job. When Greta meets Elec for the first time she is very much attracted to him but realizes what a jerk her really is. The relationship between Elec and his father Randy was horrible. I hated the way Randy treated Elec and I felt so bad for him at times. Elec picks on Greta and tries to do all these means things to her but you can see his attention for her. Greta always tries to be nice to Elec even though he is being mean to her. When one night their relationship changes and it was so sweet! Then Elec all of sudden has to leave to go be back with his mother. These two were never suppose too see each other another but fate had other plans. 7 years later the path between Elec and Greta cross again. Elec is in a relationship with another girl and it kills Greta to see how he is with this other woman. When Elec has a breakdown and Greta helps him their relationship changes again. One of my favorite parts of the book is the autobiography Elec wrote about himself and let’s Greta read it. So even though the book is told through Greta’s POV, we get to see how Elec was feeling through the years. It was a beautiful book and I loved every minute of it. Can’t wait to see more by this another.
