New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh's new contemporary romance novella is pure hard rock and scorching heat...

What happens when the Gentleman of Rock decides to play dirty?

A drummer for the hottest rock band on the planet, David has a single, powerful weakness: Thea, the band's publicist and the woman who steals his breath away with her every move.

Only problem is, Thea doesn't date clients--or musicians. Emotionally scarred by a cheating ex, she's not about to risk her heart with a man who has groupies buzzing around him like flies. Even if his sexy smile ties her up in knots.

What she doesn't know is that David is a one-woman man...and he's madly in love with her. David's determined to prove he's worth the risk, and willing to court her, step by exquisite step. Thea's about to discover just how long and hard this handsome drummer can play.

Rock Courtship is a rockin’ good read.  After absolutely loving Rock Addiction, the first in this new series by Nalini Singh, I couldn’t pass up the chance to pick up the next book in the series from Netgalley.  Rock Courtship tells the tale of the Gentleman of Rock, David Rivera and his courtship of his band’s  SchoolBoy Choir, publicist Thea Arsana.

David came from poverty strictened family in the South Bronx. He worked hard to make his life better for him and his family, but he struggles in the love department. He gets tunnel vision once he meets Thea. She’s damn near magnetic to his rock metal self. He knows he’s meant to be with her, but try telling an emotional scarred woman that a Rock God is good boyfriend material.

Thea is emotionally damaged after finding her ex fianc√© in a compromising position. She throws herself into her work and comes off as a cold hearted bitch. Even when a good guy like David takes a risk to ask her out, she lies to him fanning a busy schedule to protect her heart. She’s been attracted to him from day one, but she’s not about to give into her heart’s desires with a rock star. They’re notoriously unfaithful, and besides, no man can deal with the personality she is rocking. Her refusal internally bothers her and when a memo falls into her inbox, she finds herself re-thinking her stance on that sexy rock star.

This novella is more than just a short, but sweet tale to tantalize your reading addiction for this new series. It’s a story that will melt your heart and make you want to break out your “kill the evil ex” axe and find a place to bury the body. It’s a tale about personal and emotional growth, and giving into your heart’s desires. Yet, it’s about letting go of your past and embracing your future. Honestly, I could go on and on about this book. To end this review simply, read this book J!
